Documentary Engagement Photos at Roxborough State Park

Ashlynn and Andrew wanted to highlight some of Colorado's beauty during their engagement session, since Andrew grew up in the area. We ventured out to Roxborough State Park (don't forget your permit) before the sun dipped behind the mountains. However, the clouds rolled in and we got the perfect moody setting among the wildflowers and the red rocks. Documentary engagement photos are enhanced when a couple has space to roam and be themselves. I tell my couples that they already know how to interact and that I'm just here to build off of that. Any direction I give, I want them to interpret that through what comes naturally to do, not what they think I want them to do. 

Space is the best thing I can give to couples wanting to be outside for their photos, and it never fails. I love this gallery, and I hope you do too.
