From the first time I spoke with Megan about her and Scott's wedding day, it was clear there was a VISION. And boy do I think they delivered. On the first weekend of October, the rich colors of Colorado's autumn leaves were starting to engulf every tree in the area. It made for a cozy day, which was met with a candlelit reception hall, an evening drizzle, and a warm fireplace.
Surrounded by their best friends and family, they said "I do" with a view of Denver's skyline in the far off distance. The earliest parts of the day were spent bringing the editorial vision to life with strong portraits, while continuing to capture the day in a documentary way, but with composition and styling in mind. Yet, none of that needed to be disruptive to the day - and that's the joy of loose editorial photography at The Manor House in Littleton.
Let this also be your sign to, if you can, get a group photo with every one in attendance :)
